Two of the leaders of IGIP Group were honoured by the Government of Benin on Thursday October 1st: Heiko Scheiber was elevated to the rank of Officer in the National Order of Benin and Edmond Nassala to the rank of Officer in the Order of Merit of Benin. This constitutes a sign of recognition of the extraordinary contribution of IGIP and IGIP Afrique Benin to improving access to safe drinking water in the country.
