The scope of works of “Phase 3 - Construction Supervision” of the Bursa sewerage project includes the design and construction supervision of six waste water treatment plants, separated in two “Design Build” work packages with each three waste water treatment plants and the construction supervision of two sea outfalls for a “Design Bid Build” work package. The secretary is supported by the backup team located in Germany.
The place of the assignment is on the construction sites in Bursa in agreement with Team Leader / Resident Engineer. The main office will be at the waste water treatment plant Mudanya site.
The secretary will support the consultant team during the construction supervision with focus on the administrative aspects. The secretary will be responsible for the organisation and handling of all documents which will be received and distributed to all project stakeholders externally and the distribution and collection of the project documents to and from the involved experts and the Team Leader / Resident Engineer. No document will leave the office to another project stakeholder without review and signature of the Team Leader / Resident Engineer. With this respect the tasks of the secretary shall not be limited but also include the following:
Translation of documents from English into Turkish as well as Turkish into English language
Ensure that all documents which shall be sent out will be reviewed and signed by the Team Leader
Maintain list of correspondence in and out going, list of “Request of Approval”, list of “Request of Inspections”
Maintain the filling system for all project documents such as letters, workshop drawings, submittal, test protocols correspondence
The assignment in the project is scheduled to start by 1 August 2016 and will run for 18 months. The duration of your assignment in this role is set for the entire project period; the exact assignment times are subject to project needs.
Transport to and from the site office to the construction site will be provided through a vehicle pool and it will be coordinated with the Team Leader / Resident Engineer.
